Designing In Memory....

Memorial design is one of the most important works of art created. It is the art that Memorializes one's entire Life. Just as history books tells us of the times we did not witness, it's often in reading one's obituary that we learn of all the accomplishments of a person's life, it creates family history for generations to come. For many of us in the African American community, it gives us names of our Ancestors that our country withheld in archives, that only listed Sex & Age of our people in Slave inhabitants records. Memorial programs our grandparents keep for us tell our stories.

With our world now navigating through a pandemic, the creation of Memorial design is at an all time high. It is important that we remember the importance of Memorializing our friends & loved ones.
